Hey everyone!!
As always, a big thanks first of all to those kind enough to leave support on my last blog. It really means a lot that you read my writings, though most recently it's been more like whinings...
It's been a few weeks since the last blog, and I see that there have been some big changes while I've been away... This is my first blog on the brand spanking new SG!
Not much to report really, that's why I've left it for a few weeks, and because I'm not on here as much as I used to be. I don't have much enthusiasm for anything at the moment, even blogging.
Here's what's been happening since my last update...
The nerve block injection didn't help at all, if anything it made the pain ten times worse than it had been. Plus I had an allergic reaction where they did the injections, and I now have a rash above my hip, and one on my groin. I'm now trying a TENS machine for pain relief, but not much luck there either so far.
My doctor has advised me not to rush to have the surgery though, because there's such a high risk of making the pain permanent. He says there's plenty more pills I can try first (joy!!), and I'm trying to be positive, but it's hard because all the pills I've been prescribed so far haven't done much good.
My dose of Trazadone was upped to 100mg, and I'm due to see my doctor again next week. It's still not doing much good, for my pain, my mood, and it's not helping me to sleep either. My sleeping patterns are pretty fucked at the moment, and most nights I'm awake until between 4am and 5.30am, then I sleep until midday at the earliest.
I'll have to see if they can prescribe anything different next week, as I was told that if the 100mg didn't work either then it was pointless continuing with Trazadone, and time to move on to something else.
Sorry it's still all doom and gloom, I really wish I had some good news for a change.
Sorry for the lack of a music share this time, hopefully normal service should resume on the next blog.
That's about it for this blog, so I'll finish with the usual request for more love for the following lovely ladies.
Live long and prosper.
