Howdy Ho SG Land!
As usual, a big thanks first of all to those kind people to leave supportive comments on the last blog. You have no idea how much your continued support is appreciated, but trust me, it's a lot!!
Not much news since the last blog.
I've been having acupuncture done by the physio department, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for me yet. Also, the nurse doing the acupuncture seems a bit inept, as she's drawn blood when removing some of the needles. Since this is the first time this has happened to me, I'm guessing it's her technique that's the issue.
The antidepressants I was prescribed aren't helping, and it's been almost 2 weeks I've been taking them. I feel just as lethargic as before and they only help me to sleep if I had not much sleep the night before. Most nights they don't work at all and I'm still awake at the back of 4 in the morning.
I got a letter in regard to my referral for counselling, with a couple of questionnaires I have to fill in and send off before I will be granted an appointment.
Still no news on the nerve block, and we're into September now...
On a lighter note, we went to the cinema 3 times last week. It's the only form of escapism that I have at the moment, that's why we've been going so regularly, and also because it's blockbuster season...
Last week we saw Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, which was hilarious. Steve Coogan is a comic genius and it was great to see Colm Meaney in the main supporting role, they worked brilliantly together.
We also saw Elysium, which was amazing, though the set for Los Angeles looked like the set from District 9, but that's acceptable since they were both made by the same person.
Finally we saw The Lone Ranger, which wasn't that bad at all, in fact it was really good. I've no idea why it's been getting such poor reviews. I read somewhere that the critics had decided to slate the movie before they'd even seen it...
Johnny Depp was at his usual standard and my only gripe was that Helena Bonham Carter was hardly in the movie at all, given that she was in the publicity posters, I'd have thought she'd have a bigger role.
Not much on at the cinema over this week and the next, as they're having their annual Screen Play festival. Cue lots of pretentious, arty farty movies. The type of movies Cartman would describe as being about "A bunch of gay cowboys eating pudding".
Fingers crossed there will be decent movies on the week after next!
Been spending more time on Fetlife lately, it's such a great community.
It's drawing out more of my kinky side than SG does. I'm discovering kinks and urges that have lain dormant for many years, due to repressing those urges to fit in with society. I'm re-discovering myself, as it were.
I realised a while ago that I'm very submissive, and I feel happier in myself for realising this.
I have found a Mistress and Owner, who I hope to meet and worship in person someday in the future. For now she's happy for me to service and worship her via e-mail, sending her pics of what she wants to see, and obeying her every whim.
No music share this time I'm afraid, though normal service should resume in the next blog.
That's about it for this blog, so I'll finish with the usual request for more love for the following lovely ladies.
