As always a big thanks first of all to those kind souls who left supportive comments on the last blog, I love you all like Sloth loves Chunk! 
So what's been happening since the last blog? Not a lot at all...
The steroid injection didn't work, no surprises there. I don't know why most painkilling methods don't work on me, perhaps I'm defective...
I haven't heard anything about my referral to physio for acupuncture yet, so I've decided to see if I can get my GP to do acupuncture in the meantime. Only problem is that the GP who practices acupuncture isn't on until the week after next, so that means I'm signed off for another week in the meantime.
Pain levels are up and down at the moment, but I'm not fit for work as just trying to help out around the house makes me very sore. I loaded the tumble drier and emptied the bin today and I was in agony from doing just that. 
As I said earlier, I'm grateful for the supportive comments on the last blog, and I noticed that some think it's back pain I'm suffering from. I'm grateful for all support, but just to clear things up, my back's been fine since February, it's testicular pain that's giving me so much grief at the moment. It's been sore off and on since the botched IVF operation 4 years ago. This time it's been getting worse every day for the past 3 months, this is the worst that it's ever been.
Right, enough about that. You must be fed up of reading about it, as unfortunately it's been the bulk of my news for the past few weeks...
Got my paycheque on Friday, and it was a very small cheque, due to me being off for most of the past month. Statutory sick pay here is very low, as our government only seems to care about the rich folk like themselves. *sigh*
On the plus side, the Mrs thought it would do me good to get out of the house for a while last Sunday. We went to see Despicable Me 2, it was awesome, much funnier than the first one and way more action from the minions this time around. I heartily recommend it to anyone who's a fan of the first movie.
