Just got back from work. Man, what a crappy night. I fucking hate this job. It was slow to begin with, AND I fucked up twice. The first time, I hit the wrong button and two people's steaks came out wrong.
The second time, I gave two tables each other's checks by accident. The table that got the cheaper check paid it and left, thinking they got a freebie. The other table noticed they got a more expensive check than they were supposed to, and pointed it out to me.
To correct the problem, I had to pay the difference out of MY OWN POCKET. There goes $22 for ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING. I just basically gave it to those assholes that got the cheaper check and bounced with it.
That's okay though. I have an interview this friday for FMS bank. And I applied online for Commerce bank. I hope this works out because I am DONE with the restaurant biz. I've had enough of it.

It's funny (well, not 'ha ha' funny, but weird) that you gave two tables wrong checks, I did too!! Luckily, mine had finished at the same time, and got their checks at the same time. One table was ready to pay it, and the other called me over and said, "You know, who ever's check this is, has fabulous taste!! What a great meal they must have had. But, could I have mine?" I cracked up
Yeah, I've been trying to get motivated and do stuff for years now. Ever since I stopped riding, I've been saying I would work out.
Procrastinators Unite!!! Meeting postponed...
Good luck with the bank thing!! I used to be friends with someone who worked at a bank, and really loved it. She made good money, too
