This weekend is still a mystery. No idea what I'm doing tonight! Lunch was not too bad today, and they didn't need me to work dinner. That means less money and more free time.
So.... saw Kingdom of Heaven last night. Don't bother! Sorry to burst your bubbles, but it was a flop IMO. The acting was decent enough and the action scenes(as few as there were) were fairly well done I guess. But the script lacked any kind of liveliness. The characters were mostly boring stereotypes and I just couldn't bring myself to care about any of them.
The middle hour of the movie was slooooooooooooooooow and boring. I almost whipped out my cell phone and started playing Snake 2.
ANd then there were a couple decent battles. Fun to watch but short and not that exciting. Maybe I'm spoiled because so many other good movies have come before it, but it's really not the "must see" hit of the summer.

Gotta work a dinner shift tonight, and I'm picking up a lunch shift tomorrow.... Yay for Mommy's Day. It's going to be freakin packed, so hopefully it will be nice people, and a good host/ess. The hosts yesterday had a death wish. Sat me two huge parties, and said they wouldn't seat my two other tables until I said I was ready for them, I went back to the kitchen to help fix stuff for the 22 top, and when I came back out like ten minutes later... I had a really pissed off table who had been waiting forever... Fuckin host. It was a bad day to serve yesterday, one girl left sobbing.
