I've recently acquired a snail mail pen pal. An old friend is overseas and she has no access to the internet. I'd almost forgotten how much more satisfying it is to write an actual letter. And I find I like anticipating the much slower and usually more thoughtful response. There are things I love about the internet but I think we are losing some things too.
