I made the hour drive north last night to West palm beach to hang out with my friend Diane on her b-day. She turned 34 yesterday, looking fabulous 
We had a fun time time, there were about 10 of us- we started the night at Blue Martini then went to Resort nightclub for a little booty shakin this place was packed for a tuesday night. I've been there on a saturday and never seen it like that. DAMN SPRING-BREAKERS! It's funny, I'd give my right arm for a spring break these days, wish i was still in college with nothing going on but school, boozin' and college boys. Well actually i take the last part back, college boys are certainly cute, but they can barely afford their own drinks, have one thing on their minds, and have no skill. ...Still they are nice to look at, and if there was a guarantee that they knew how to work the 
then i might give it a consideration. Unfortunately, no one comes with a label, and you get what you get- and that's barely worth the risk of dissapointment. 
And Jack if you are reading this, here's your answer.... No making out, no action, no rock stars, no nothing! So it's wednesday and St Patty's day is tomorrow... I've decided that i'm staying put, it's one thing that the streets of fort lauderdale will be packed as is, but with the exodus of snow birds and college kids FUCK THAT!! I've got a blockbuster night planned! 
in other news, whiteiris might be visiting me in 2 weeks! I'm soo excited and i hope she'll be able to get off work so i can show her South florida. She's a beautiful babe and i know she could use a little time away from life in Lousianna. I'm making a point to be on the beach that entire weekend. Sweet!
Tonight I get to pick up my stuff from Jeremy's place. I've avoided him for almost 10 days now so i think it's about time i got this over with. I just feel bad, he's soo sweet but i'm just jaded right now. I'd like to love him back, he's the type of guy that a girl should want. He's handsome, thoughtful, sincere, has ambition, good listener, likes to cuddle, he's a chef, can take apart your car (or a helicopter for that matter) and put it back together, loves children, wants children, wants the white picket fence... what the hell is wrong with me? Hanging out with her watching cartoons, coloring, or playing candyland on the couch is where i feel absolutely comfortable.

Meanest thing you've ever done? when in high school i went to clubs here and there, so i was with a few girlfriends when we spot a girl that we all absolutely hated, (girl was a clepto, and a skank) when she saw us she turned her nose up, and started the "whispering and looking over" act..so when she walked by i tripped her, and my best friend spit gum in her hair :shocked: looking back that was shitty- everyone laughed at her and who knows when she ever got that gum out of her hair....

i think today i realized that i'm in a really great mood. I have a few hassles here and there, but i think I'm slowly becoming happy with who i am these days and who i am becoming. I'm feeling as independent as ever (lonely at times yes, but that's nada compared to being with someone where it's so unsure and shaky) i realized that yes i miss the old days at times, but where would we be today if we didn't move forward with the things we meant?
