It's hard being alone so much, it's got me down; but at least it's pushing me to try new stuff. Hell, at this point, I'd almost be willing to join a barbershop quartet, or a mime troupe. My neighborhood is really quiet for a Saturday night. I've been sitting here for awhile and I just realized that it's gotten dark, it's almost night outside. There's something cool about that, when it happens. Plus, it's so warm it feels like early Spring. About all I can hear are crows, and the occasional car.

Remind me to never, never, NEVER stay home because someone said they wanted to hang out and were gonna call/text. People bail or forget all the time, or maybe it's just on my anti-social ass. Maybe I'm easy to please, but I liked Black Swan. It veers from sublime to cheesy, but it's always interesting. I've never felt Aronofsky is as deep a film-maker as he aspires to be-- Herzog or Malick he's not-- but he makes interesting films. (Except Requiem for a Dream. That blew.) Plus, I love me some crazed hallucinations, they make for cinematic gold.

Rain. Christmas shopping. Planters for new plants. More rain. Cleaning the apartment. Fucking around on the internet (like YOU, natch). Drizzle. Then rain. Maybe drinking, maybe videos, maybe going out. Football (watched). Perhaps the unexpected. Oh, lunar eclipse. LUNAR FUCKING ECLIPSE.

Just getting back into working out, and my body has that good, ache-y feeling. Some of you-all know what I'm talking about. That feeling of muscle groups coming back to life. I think Johnny Cougar Mellencamp wrote a song about it or sumpin.

Mexico was great. I pretty much sat by the pool, sat by the ocean, sat in restaurants. Thank God I just joined a gym, because I need to get off of my ass and MOVE. But it was fun, and I was in good company (my friends Sarah and Craig).
