My car is being supremely gay. It runs fine and I've not had any major problems with it, it just has this odd habit of making my worry my arse off everytime I'm on a dual carraigeway. Lately its taken to lighting up the little "check engine" light on the dashboard. It still runs exactly the same and even curiouser - if I stop the car and start the engine again the light buggers off. Then its usually about 3 days before it happens again. I'll have to get it checked out tomorrow.
I've been going to the cinema a LOT since I got my car and taking full advantage of my unlimited card thingy. On Sunday night I saw Nacho Libre with Dr.Girlfriend. Thought it was very amusing for the most part, although you can tell its a Jared Hess movie and at times Nacho's little sidekick is essentially Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite.
After work on Monday afternoon I got exceptionally bored and went off to watch Monster House. I'd been waiting until we go to the better cinema further away so I could see it in 3D, but having seen it now I cant imagine it would've made much difference. VERY good movie. It reminded me of The Goonies in places and ANY movie with both Fred Willard and Jason Lee involved gets my approval.
The best movie I saw this week though was the one I just got back from - "Brick" Normally my Cineworld wouldn't have shown it but they run this groovy thing on Wednesdays when they show smaller movies than usual. For anyone that doesnt know it stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (you know, Tommy from 3rd Rock from the Sun) and its essentially film-noir set in a high school. Very very very cool, even with my having missed the first 5 minutes.
So overall I'm in a pretty good mood, although that might change if my car turns out to be fucked when i get it checked tomorrow.

You're never in a good mood. We're bitter and cynical that's our thing.
