FUCK LG!!!
Yep, I am not a fan of that company currently. I bought a TV of theirs a few weeks ago off of Amazon, and it was delivered two weeks ago this past Monday. When I woke up Tuesday and went to set it up the piece they call the stand body would not fit what they call the stand base. I looked at the label number on each piece and found that my TV was a LE53, the base was a LE53, and the body was a LE50, so I emailed the company to tell them of my problem, at first I got an idiotic response that I should try putting them together because the labelling might just be something they use and not have anything to do with the actual product in my hand, as if I didn't try putting it together. The screw holes on the base and body do not match up so that was what tipped me off that there was a problem.
Once I had that straightened out and had it specified that there was a problem with the stand body I was asked for my serial number and told that they would get the problem taken care of, that was the 7th. I waited a few days and then asked about the body being sent and was told the order was completed on the 10th and it would take 5-7 business days to arrive. On the 20th I emailed them again to tell them I hadn't received the piece like they originaly said, only to be told that it wasn't mailed until the 15th and would take 7-10 business days. It was interesting that the second time they told me it was mailed on the 15th as that was the day I was told it was completed on the 10th. Curious huh?
Well today I get my replacement stand body and I was pretty jacked about that until I opened the bag it was sent in and found out, duh duh duh...it's the exact same one I was given in the original package. So Matt's not too happy right now becaus he feels that he was handled with kid gloves when he is smart enough to see the problem and able to point it out only to be ignored by the company itself. I fired off another email where I explained the problem and told them I expected it to be taken care of immediately and sent overnight this time.
What are the odds of that? Any guesses?
