Right then.
So Saturday. Well, the train the internet told me was the one I wanted turned out to not exist, so alas I was unable to get a cocktail.
I did however get very, very drunk. Spent some time with some great people, drank a bread based drink at the end of the evening (Don't ask). Details are hazy, I know I had a good time, and I'm at least hoping that I didn't do anything to offend. Apologies if I did!
Sunday, I met up with a good friend in London for a drink at lunchtime, I wished her well for her upcoming wedding, and just caught up, then a trip to Brighton, I had an impromptu gathering with some other old friends, and was really glad to see my old friend Tim again. Who looks like getting a job on the new Constantine film if it goes ahead. I can't say I approve of the film, but it's a job that Tim was born for.
Stayed over in Worthing on Sunday night with yet another old friend. To be honest I spent a lot of time catching up with people. Monday I went to Brighton and had one of the nicest days of my life. I did get a bit sun burnt, but... Well... The day was way too short, and my weekend was cut short by a day because of computer training, which meant that the journey home was a bitter sweet affair. It's always good to get back to your own bed and all, but thinking of the day I'd had, and someone watching me leave on the train platform... I just really didn't want to go. And then I kicked myself a bit on the journey home for something that I really feel I should have done before leaving. But you can't change the past, and the future is starting to look better and better all round.
So back to real life. Down here in the arse end of nowhere. But it's getting pretty out there, I'm listening to the family of Blackbirds singing outside my window (The newest addition is just about to leave the nest, and is being very vocal about it). The Sun has been blazing, and I am wishing slightly that the transportation system here was a little better, because now is the right time for checking out the region before it gets full of bloody Emmetts.
I'm nearly through with training at work now, doing the last bit of IT training, and have only 6 working days left before I get let loose on the general public. Hopefully the adverts have come on the local TV warning everyone!

I am feeling very sleepy tonight. I didn't add that I'd been to the gym every night since your birthday meet. Argh.
