Tomorrow is a day for giving thanks but this special message for you - as in all of you - who are in my friends list or to the SGs listed underneath my favorite SuicideGirls.
It is known in history that Thanksgiviing is the day that both Indians and Pilgrims gave thanks after a group of Pilgrims sailed across the Atlantic on a ship known as the Mayflower and landed in the Americas. The Indians and Pilgrims then had a special meal on a day that they all gave thanks for whatever it is that they were thankful for. Forever in history - either it be written and remembered or erased and forgotten by people - it will remain.
What I'm hoping to all of you out there reading this now is that giving thanks doesn't have to be catered and specialized to a Holiday. Giving thanks is something that should be done everyday of your living life and thereafter if you believe in it or not. Now usually some person would say "be thankful because someone out there has it worse than you" but I won't because that is putting a vain input on thanks to something negative. Instead, think of all the things you have that make you happy right now and think about how it makes you feel and how it makes you act around your friends, your family, and all your other loved ones. Think about the morning sunshing as you wake up fully refreshed from a good night's sleep. Think of a delicious meal - your favorite meal - cooked or prepared to perfection. Think of your favorite book, musical album, movie, television show. Think of your favorite activity or hobby. Think of the pride you get from doing something universally good not for gain but because it is good. Then think of how it all is you.
The one part of the universe you are able to control the most, you are able to make, fix, enjoy, make a lasting impression, is the part of the universe that is you. So I ask to just be thankful for you for life isn't just a beginning and an ending but also a journey - and it is worth everything if you know how to navigate it.
Faith. Love. Hope. Will.

That's funny, coming from a fellow Floridian. When I say "hard" and "cool" I'm referring to the retarded "thug" mentality most teens abide by.
