Hi Everyone,
The first figure from my upcoming blind box series has been cast! This is my first time producing a figure completely in house. There was a bit of trial and error being that it was my first times working with resin, first time working with a vacuum, first time working with a pressure pot and first time, working with this kind of silicone... a lot of firsts hahaha.
The errors: For one I made the mold box too big wasting a bit of my mold material, secondly I had no idea how to work my pressure pot, and thirdly I either used too much casting material or too little. By my third figure I had it pretty much figured out.
If you sign up to be a patron of mine over at my Patreon and go for the $45+ patron donations, you will be receiving a special color variant of of this guy :)
With projects like this I can really see where your patronage will come in handy, especially when the trial and error comes into play. I'll try to have some progress pics up for all of my patrons within the week. I didn't document much with this figure because I was really unsure what I was doing, but I'll try to have a step by step for the first shadow of the series. So if you're curios about my process and all that stuff, go sign up for my Patreon and check out my Creations!
What do you guys and gals think of the figure so far? I still have to figure out the paint for him.
