Hi Everyone,

The first figure from my upcoming blind box series has been cast! This is my first time producing a figure completely in house. There was a bit of trial and error being that it was my first times working with resin, first time working with a vacuum, first time working with a pressure pot and first time, working with this kind of silicone...

What... why Patreon?

Patreon is like an ongoing kickstarter in that it allows an audience of supporters to support artists and projects. However, instead of

So I've been a member on here for six years or so, but I haven't really been active. I just recently added my IG feed in the hopes of generating some interest(for myself and others.) A figure drawing teacher pointed me to SG in my first year of art school and I signed up to have

I did! I used to link my laptop to my tv screen and blow them up for my LIfe Drawing classes. It was mostly gestural studies along with quick studies timed up to 10 minutes. All of it was done in charcoal and conte crayon on 18x24 news print for homework. I did this for about 3 years I think  before I switched over to sculpture.

The interview went amazing, the manager said he would call everyone back the day after the interview, but he called me back within the hour telling me to come back and pick some stuff up. I would go for how you would handle work conflict, what you hope to gain from the job, hobbies or things you like to do, and how easy are you to get along with and build a friendship with.
I think that most employers want someone who is going to fit into the team, and get along with their customers more than someone with outstanding skills. I would pick someone friendly with less experience over a dickhead who had been doing it for years.

Thanks, both of you! those sound like great ideas, but I didn't get to look at what you said in time, but I appreciate that you were reading and giving me feedback! smile
