So I've been a member on here for six years or so, but I haven't really been active. I just recently added my IG feed in the hopes of generating some interest(for myself and others.) A figure drawing teacher pointed me to SG in my first year of art school and I signed up to have access to tons of amazing models and used them for a ton of homework assignments. After a few years I kind of tapered off the site when I moved towards sculpting, however I still managed to pop in from time to time. I hoe to change that and be a little more active.
As it stands I have a blogger and a Patreon that I write for and it's a little tricky to make time for those. I'm a full time artist at the moment living from piece to piece, so I have to try and keep myself busy. This leaves me with little time for much anything else. I'm getting a little better at the time management thing and that's another reason why I'm writing here. I'm a homebody for the most part, mainly due to the 12 to 16 hour work days and living 20 miles from civilization. I just moved back to the middle of nowhere after living in San Francisco for 6 or 7 years. It's taken me a lot of time to try and readjust to being alone and I'm really feeling the need to make some friends. I've been reaching out to people on Facebook, but no one is biting so I thought Id try my luck here. Unfortunately a lot of the friends I made in SF were highly motivated people who are fully immersed in what their doing, leaving them little time for anything else. However, they live in a city surrounded by friends and often work in studios surrounded by friends. That was me up until a year ago. I'm all alone out here, besides one friend who I've known for 12 years or so.
Anyway, If you're reading this and happen to see any common interests from my vital stats, feel free to strike up a convo. I'm still figuring out how to use the site and am little confused as how to harass people. So many places to comment, its a little overwhelming. I'm still a little turned around after the site overhaul a while back.
I'll start posting a little more about myself on a regular basis. Be warned, it will most likely be about my art or my 2 cats. I live a fairly uneventful life at the moment so my art and cats are the only things keeping it somewhat eventful.
