I feel so celebrated and special! Thanks all! I swear I will reply to everyone when I get back to SB, but for now I will simply update.
After said lame dates I met Mr. Nickysonic for numerous beers at his local jumpin' hangouts (wink, wink). Mr. Sonic was ever so entertaining and I felt like a daft cow when he showed me up by giving two of his band's recordings and I had nothing for him although the day before was his birthday... (I'll make it up in the future...)
Had to bow out quite early though as the next morning I was heading out at an absurd hour to Dublin and I did not want to get stuck outside of Wimbledon. I could've spent the night, but...
So, arrived in Dublin. Manager of club did not pick me up as agreed, fortunately I had the house address where I was to stay. Took a cab and arrived to meet a large blonde Canadian girl (think WWF) who was failry gracious and found a room to put me in. I decided to go find food and when I came back (having no key) I rang the doorbell REPEATEDLY. Received ICY reaction from angry sleepy Hungarian girl. Apparently it is too much too ask that people be awake at 4:00 in the afternoon.
The club is beautiful, but the mangement are unbelivably condescending and rude. Most of the staff including girls are great except for this French girl that we have nicknamed The Camel and a Siberian girl. It's cold there in Siberia which I guess accounts for the fact that she is a FRIGID bitch! Anyhow, recuperating slowly...
Went out Sunday night with a couple of American guys that I met. They talked about Mexican food the whole time... Where are all the good Irish men? *wink* I have been too tired to get into any trouble yet, but will have plenty of time to do so in the next two weeks. I'll keep you posted...
