Why is it that I only update my journal when I have a stomach bug? Do I equate SG with nausea and vomiting? That's just wrong.

Recent news . . . hmmmm. Went to London and came back. Good trip, bad company. Started a new job. Good job, bad company. Don't trust hospitals. Ever. Spent this weekend at my place of work -- puking all...

Ani Difranco and Melissa Ferrick -- AWESOME shows!! Cleveland, um, rocks. Heh.
daemoniac:
I enjoyed the Ani, I really did. But, a few years back when I was forced to go, gun to my head and everything, when I wasn't a fan...I felt she put on a better show. Then again, I'm just a guy going to an Ani show, what do I really get about the whole thing anyway? biggrin

Have you ever gone out to dinner with someone who just had gastric bypass surgery? It isn't fun. He had to chew each bite so carefully and cautiously that soon I was chewing my own bites at least 32 times before swallowing. Made me think of all the digestive enzymes in our body -- the way saliva interacts with food to break it down --...

Oy yoy yoy, it's been a long time. I even forgot how to update my journal. The new year has been harsh -- I lost my job a couple of weeks ago, and this waiting around for a new one is killing me. I've reversed my sleep habits once again, having to force myself to get to bed before sunrise and am a lot more...

Hey my good buddy went to that gig at the Beachland. Me it's not my "scene".
The only gigs I'm waiting for is Social Distortion Febuary 18 and Flogging Molly in March. biggrin
Whoa, for once I don't have a gig nor ideas of what's going on a Friday night. whatever
You get idea, let me know. wink
recordandplay:
It's good to see you back. Sorry about the job-loss. Man, I understand the desire for more. Marriage seems SO far away. But, I suppose that's ok.

the days of reckoning are at hand.
Because your sins are so many
and your hostility so great,
the prophet is considered a fool,
the inspired man a maniac.

I've returned! Less lonely, but still somewhat at a loss for words. My new job is hard. Good hard, but I come home so incredibly tired. I'm currently working the 6am shift -- a very bad thing for a night person. I never would have thought I could tolerate a 10pm bedtime.

I've officially lived on my own for a full month, and it ain't...

all of the girls I know operate that way. they hang out with their ex: eat dinner, watch movies, sleep together. and eventually it always come back to him asking what their "relationship" is.

and hello.
krys_____:
funny how that works... you date someone for a while, start living with them, and then you start sleeping in different beds.
Strange huh?

Thomas Hardy is one of my all time favorites. Have you read "Far from the madding crowd" or "mayor of casterbridge"? You must, I think they're better then Tess, though Tess was quite exceptional.
