Just spent ten days in Sydney spending all of my money. Had a good time, though is was surprisingly cold. Tis awesome to be home though, I didn't think I'd miss everyone as much as I did, and apparently people from Sydney are mean. I met a few exceptions but they all seemed rather impatient despite the fact that all walk ridiculously slowly.

Anywho's time...

Sydney can be awesome, though I agree about a lot of them being mean and even a racist. I was having lunch in china town there once and the people next to me were complaining about all the gooks living in thier country now. I have very little tolerance for ignorance but they were doing this loudly in the middle of fing Chinese restaurant, so I shouted at them well atleast it wasn't as bad as having to put up with the number of assholes from Australia coming to New Zealand.

Hope your'e ok

So, recently I have been toying with the idea of applying to be a Suicide Girl. Even if I don't get picked the whole process will probably be loads of fun.

An so I'm attempting to get the application underway but I am stumped on one point. My set. I have very few places where I can have the privacy to do a nude photoshoot,...

I agree about a nature set... Also maybe a something done in an attic or basement dunno what u have over there in NZ since I havnt made it over there in my travels. But I would go along with something that reflects your interests.
tempesta:
Hmmmm a nature set would be good... I'll have a hunt around for some nice places to do a shoot. Or I could rent a holiday home somewhere nice like akaroa and have a whole house and bit of yard and stuff to myself to do stuff.

Thanks for the good ideas, guys!

Anyone heard of Ruby Rocket? She is a professional cos-player. This means that she gets paid to dress up as a FREAKING SUPERHERO.

I wish I was her.

That is all.

My boyfriend got a dog. She is the most awesome dog in the world... if not slightly retarded. Has heaps of scars on her face from her previous owners other dog fighting too hard with it, but is still really friendly and lovely.

In other news... NO MORE JOB. Now I must chill out for a month until I get back from australia before finding...

@maleficus That bird took 2 hours. I was rather impressed at her speed.

Well... has been a while since I blogged... I have been busy.

For Easter, I spent five days at Easter Camp which was... an interesting experience. I mean, it was fun. Good food, got a lot of writing done, interesting activities. But, the fact that it was really overtly Christian was kind of weird. I've got absolutely nothing against Christianity, my best friend is a...

Hyperactive children are freaking weird.

Seriously I had one girl today (who is usually pretty normal) half-attack me for a good hour or so. Didn't hurt so much as was annoying. But holy crap. WEIRDNESS.

Speaking of which, I will now ramble about one of the weirdest places I have ever been. It's called Pegasus, and it's just outside of Christchurch/Woodend. It's one of those...

Today I got paid to shop. How awesome is that? And the best part: the government pays for whatever I buy. I love my job.

Lately I haven't been getting nearly enough writing done and I think it's beginning to show. What I need is time to just sit down at my computer, no distractions, and just write... and that will never, ever, ever, ever,...

Can I have your job? I reckon I'd be awesome at it!

I never got much writing done until I burnt out on an overload of bad movies and websites. Getting rid of the Internet wasn't enough, I just found other ways to waste time (yay BadgerBadgerBadger!)
tempesta:
Hahaha, I'm quite enjoying it at the moment, ask me when I hate it.

And yeah, there's always something to stop me from writing, no matter where I am. But I will find a way... or I'll go crazy. One of the two.

Primeval = new favourite tv show.

It's not technically new as it'll be starting it's fourth season next year, but it's new to me and it's freaking awesome. Tears in space and time causing anomalies to appear and dinosaurs to come and say hello is awesome. And Andrew Lee Potts and James Murray aren't bad either.

Today I over ate at brunch cause it's my...

Amanda. Fucking. Palmer.

Now, i could leave it at that cause it pretty much sums everything up, but for those of you who aren't telepathic, I'll explain.

Amanda Palmer (lead singer of the Dresden Dolls nad now a solo artist) came to New Zealand and played in my town last night. My friend was opening and I was secretly hoping that Amanda's fiance (my own...

Speaking of Gaiman, have u ever seen Mirror Mask?
tempesta:
Hell yes I have seen Mirror Mask. I was sitting there freaking out cause it was so amazing, what with it being like a moving Dave Mckean art piece put together with a Neil Gaiman story.
