First entry...
I thought these journals were only for the suicide girls themselves. I've been a member for a while and I'm just now getting around to setting up a profile, journal etc.
A little info about me for anyone that should care. I was born and raised in upstate NY. After graduating high school and entering college and studying computer information systems I knew it wasn't for me. I dropped out after a year and a half, worked full time and started a punk pand called Ebenezer Splooge.
Ebenezer Splooge (old website)
We recorded a few Cds including a live album from CBGB's.
Looking for bands to play with I stumbled across a NYC band called Bitchcat, striking up a friendship with the singer through emails and IM's. After a while she left the band for various reasons and also left the city and her fiancee to move back to pennsylvania where her family was. My band had also begun to dissolve and I relocated to PA as well to be with her. A year later we were married.
Plans of us starting a band together fell apart as we realized that the music industry was focusing mainly on top 40 cover bands. Most of the cool clubs in the area began to either close their doors or switch to a DJ format.
Instead we settled into a very happy marriage and bought a house and got ourselves a pitbull puppy which we named Crimson Blaise.
We still tinker around musically, I have a guitar and a bass, she has a keyboard and also a bass. We plan on putting in a music room in the basement in the coming years and possibly recording some things just for us.
