Wow. Almost a month since last post?!

Before I forget:

BBQ and then movies at my place on July 23.
Grilling at 5ish, movies later. So far folks seem to be leaning toward cheesy horror. which I love biggrin

June was full of World Cup. US sucked, Germany ran out of gas against Italy, and I'm rooting for the French side against Italy in the final....

it was so bloody fucking hot my dog melted.

Poor guy still has 98% of his winter coat, and there is just no getting cool when it's 97 in the shade.

Unless you go to the river park and watch the mighty snow dogs wade daintily into the current, snarfling up water as fast as they can choke it down. Then back home to more...

....*grunts*....*coughs*.....*heaves off rock*....*crawls into sunshine*....*sighs*....

So Hellcity was a blast. Car problems kept cropping up on the trip out, so much of Saturday's activities were missed. But we got there in plenty of time to meet up lots of folks. I can now cross off a few items from my "things I gotta do and people I gotta meet before I die" list. Maybe when...

Selfcriticism should often be my middle name. wink Sometimes Im really happy with the result of something I've done and then try to promote it and show it off so to speak.. and then the backlash is that few people really get it. Creating is hard and I think the most fun part of it is the actual progress of creation not the finished result. But I could be wrong. I guess it all depends on the feedback you get afterwards. I can take tons of critique but I hate it when you feel like no one understands what you're trying to show. ARRR!!!

my poor doggie. new food does not agree with his guts. Had to get that cuz the store was out of the usual flavor.

Toxic gas was coming out his furry butthole all night. Before bed we stepped outside, he had a pee and a farty dump. He was doing okay.

Until 4:30 this morning. Then he squirted nasty crap on the bed. It was...

I don't know about road work between Chicago and Ohio, but I'll warn you now that there is some major construction along I-70 between Dayton and Columbus. This week can't move fast enough for me. I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone at the convention, and I'm sure we'll all meet up with each other somewhere along the way.

you might think having eight more free hours a day, plus travel time, would allow me to get more things done.

maybe I'm just a giant slow poke.

I really need to win the lottery. If that should happen tomorrow night, I'll be booking a flight to Germany first thing to spend some time with family. Then numerous phone calls with financial planners to set...

Believe it or not, I haven't been carded once since I shaved it all off. Although a friend of mine who is older than me couldn't buy smokes the other night because the cashier didn't believe she was over 18.

I think you should go for it if it isn't too much of a burden economically! It could be a great possibility for you.. with lots of fun projects to do!
