I'm fucking moving to a new place this coming weekend. And I'm pretty stoked about the new endevor.

I have to admit that the break-up has presented itself with at least as many opportunities as it has with drawbacks. I'm just sorry that, to this point, we haven't been able to remain friends.

But otherwise, life is relatively good. The things that I can control...

I'm doing well, kids. No, really, I am.

I still need to find a new place to live. But I may have an opportunity to stay in Mexico for awhile, which is pretty freakin' exciting. I've realized that my job is, ultimately, just a job, and one that can be replaced. I would like to go down there to clear my head, re-evaluate my life,...

It's very irritating not to be able to keep updating my journal here on a regular basis but it's an inconvenience that I'll have to deal with only a short while longer. A week from tomorrow, I'm moving back into my apartment.

This time away from home and on the couches of friends and family has allowed me to take a step back and really...

Finding Zen in this complex world is very... well complex. Yet, once found it seems like it was there all along. That gosh darn crazy Zen.

I'm at home for the moment. I had a meeting on this side of town and figured she'd be at work and I'd just drop in and see the place and say hello to the animals.

The apartment is becoming empited out. I laid on the bed that I've slept in so many nights these past five years and just stared up at the ceiling...

I'm gald you got to stare at the ceiling for a bit. You need some silence, maybe. You also know you have a peaceful getaway further south when you need it.

Many, many apologies for being such a delinquent blog buddy. But, as some of you already know, my girlfriend and I are in the process of breaking up. The past week has been filled with such emotional turmoil that I don't even know where to begin describing this experience. Life as I knew it is now gone, and it's time to begin a new chapter...

I'm sorry you have to experience the turmoil, I went through something similar last year. Keep your chin up though, this is where life really starts to rock even though it doesn't feel like it yet. You can have whatever in life makes you happy startinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng....now.
girlblue:
Like I said, you can have whatever in life makes you happy starting now. smile

p.s. you're welcome, and I'm sure we will!

And there I was on Saturday, bobbing up and down on a long, hollow piece of fiberglass, sitting literally on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. This is when I realized I really was living in paradise.

I complain far more than I should. Justlittleolme gave me a CD recently to help curb our mutual anxiety problems. One of the stories from the CD that...

About 3 months ago some motherfuckers stole my car stereo. I'm now in the process of getting my interior fixed up and replacing the stereo but my dilemma is that the wiring was all ripped out.

Does anybody have recommendations on how best to connect fucked up wiring to a new stereo wiring harness? I have the electrical schematics to my car but am a...

I wish I knew how to help you out with that. If I did maybe I could've wired up my own stereo when I still had my car.
elfin:
I wired up my own stereo in my car when I got it back in 2000 with the help of my best friend.

To this day, I have to remove the faceplace when I turn off the car or else it drains the battery. I am not the person to ask. hehe. Take it to the installer place.

It looks like the relationship with my girlfriend of nearly five years may be coming to a close.

I've felt for some time that we were drawing apart but it's finally reaching an apex. I love her immensely as she's my best friend and confidant, but it might not be enough. Love is complicated that way.

I wish I had much better things to write...

I met you at the filmmakers event, and thought I'd say hello. It's doubtful I'll be back to LA anytime soon, but it's nice to put real faces to peoples journals.

So Hello! I really hope things get better for you and your girlfriend.

It was great meeting you the other night. sorry about all of the bullshit you're going through though. i know how it is. Four year relationship, year long breakup for me. I'm still not completely over it. There is no other pain like it. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and remember... "Bitches aint nuthin but ho's and tricks" Mr. TOO

It finally stopped fucking raining!!

I love getting any precipitation but Los Angeles was becoming ridiculous. The first day, drivers were freaked out and slowed down like they should. By day three everybody thinks they're an expert and starts hitting the freeways at 80 miles per hour in a downpour. And I've never seen so many potholes over all of the surface streets. These storms...

Happy new year, everybody! I hope yall are still alive from whatever debauchery you may have wreaked upon your poor, hapless bodies. Despite prior plans to be in Santa Cruz, me and the ladyfriend decided to stay local and remain low key, which suited us just fine. Ive experienced some pretty insane New Years parties so I dont mind missing a year.

The interview in...
