So day 13 of unemployment and I had my first interview. I'd be helping to produce visual effects (eg. computer effects) for a pretty decent shop in Pasadena. My guess is that they'll offer me the position, although for not quite as much money as I'd like. Boo friggin' hoo. 
By the end of the week I'll need to start getting more serious about the job search and start directly hitting up people I know. I've been pretty surprised by the friends who've come out to help; it's nice to feel wanted.
So before I get too busy again, I'm definitely going to have to attempt surfing again AND get a little summer BBQ together.
