Just started reading Tanith Lee's 'Night's Master' and I realize that I probably should have read it before writing the Abyssals book. Huh. Well, I guess there's always the revised version in 10 years...
Also read 'Stars My Destination' for the first time. I can't believe it was written in 1956. It has a few familliar old school science fiction tropes, but is more modern that I would have thought possible.
