You know what I'm noticing again and again? The Bush Administration uses a pretty underhanded tactic when dealing with the public. I know that, in general, this is nothing new. From day one they've been notorious for staging all of their press conferences and other pulic appearances. But there's something else. It's brilliant in a way, though it only points toward the collossal amount of nerve these guys seemingly have access to.
Simply put, the Bush Administration likes to announce that they are going to announce something. By doing this, they start public debate over an issue before it's even an issue. And when the announcement is actually made, the debate is already exhausted "old news."
Anyone else notice this, or anything like it?
