Hello, friends.
I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I spent much of the time visiting relatives and such, which really wasn't as painful as usual, so all in all I'm doing pretty well.
Things *are* changing for me, though. Today I'm going back to school. It's only part time for the next year, but I'll be going full time after that until I finish my computer science program. I have other degrees (English, Philosophy and Anthropology), but I really want to get a degree in one of the tougher sciences, just to round thingss out. And I work for a university, so the classes are practically free (for now) anyway -- it's be wasteful not to take advantage of it as much as possible .
As for the Bowie concert, starisea, it turns out the the thin white duke caught the flu and had to postpone the date until March. Bummer, that.
What's everyone reading right now? I'm skimming through Hunter S. Thompson's 'Kingdom of Fear.' It's pretty standard Thompson, which isn't a bad thing at all.

I love your god-self list. Yay for all the things that make us feel so whole and free!
Right now I'm kind of between books. I have been reading the Lotus sutras a bit, and I devoured the two Lucifer books that I bought recently. I have been contemplating tackling Paradise Lost, but . . . not quite ready to dive in yet.
You have degrees in everything that I want to study!!! *education envy* I would SO become a professional student if I suddenly came into lots of money, which would free my time and efforts from this thing called work.
Good to see you around, oh very first of my SG friends.
*smiles and hugs*
