The Apocalypse
I was standing outside the House of Shields tonight, half-inebriated, basking in the glow of the San Francisco city lights, having just seen very cool local band Tomihira play, when down the street, skated at least 40 people on roller blades.
No doubt, the inline skaters of the apocalypse, I have no idea who they really were, where they were going, or why I was fortunate enough to witness such a spectacle. But it's sights like these that make me glad I live in such a place.
