It occurs to me that the question of wether or not we have a soul can only be settled with definitive proof and a "yes."
NOT finding a soul will only prompt people to simply say that we just haven't found it yet.
The same goes for a God, but people will just say that they have found him with their unprovable evidence and that others have not.
Is there any way to DISPROVE a soul? I mean, I there are thousands of ways to disprove a God using the same kind of circumstantial evidence that they use to prove the existence of one in the first place. But what about a soul?
It's not the first time that I realized that there's no point in a debate, but it's the first time that I see that science can't win.
Well, unless we enact my eugenics plan, but that's rarely very well received.
SIDENOTE: I'm not really looking for a metaphysical debate, I'm just giving another reason why I want to selectively breed people. I got hit up today by some Scientologists and it got me going.
