What do you collect?
I collect many things, but I think my favorite collection is my book/comic collection. @rambo @missy @bloghomework
Reading is the best way to escape from yourself, and it can make any bad day better. I've enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember, and I could read "chapter" books before I was in elementary school. I've always had an advanced reading level, and I was always the "geeky" girl who hung out in the library before school, and really, anytime I could to avoid being made fun of. I'm also a speed reader! I can finish books like crazy, but I still have so many to read. If anybody has any suggestions on reading, I would be glad to hear them!
I have 5 bookshelves in my current house, and one day would love to have an entire library in my house, think Beauty & The Beast style! These are a few of my newest additions to my collection that I got a few days ago.
I also collect a lot of dead things, crystals, little trinkets that I keep on a shelf that was on the set of the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre! Above the shelf are a few photos that one of my friends took of the set before it was torn down. I have always loved horror movies, and books, so I like to collect anything that has a little dark side to it. In this (terrible) photo, you can kind of see the severed foot I made in pottery class, as well as bones/skulls, crystal balls, fossils, and other minerals. There is a small whetstone from a Pueblo reservation that I found an took when I was a child. This collection is a lot harder to expand on, since I won't buy things for it. They must be found, made or given to me in order to keep it more sacred.
