I was bored this week. Usually that means I'd be tinkering with the truck(s) or the house, but this time I baked. Initially, I just made a couple batches of cookies:

Cocoa snickerdoodle & tollhouse.

I still had the itch the following day (and five eggs), so I searched my recipe box & books for something I could slap together with a minimum of fuss. In the dessert section of Dicey Dishes, I found "Wilma's Dark Brownies"--a recipe of my maternal grandmother's submitted by my aunt.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have laundry & dishes to do. Probably should sweep & mop the house while I'm at it. Yay domestic duties!
