Recently I...
- had a burlesque gig in Rio. Last Friday, to be exact. I, once again, had the honor of sharing the stage with some amazing rock bands @ Circo Voador. It was a blast. And because I had spent the previous day writing like a maniac and the same afternoon dancing for a video shoot, when I got home on Saturday morning I passed out. From 9 am sat to 6 am sun.
But the it was totally worth it. The cariocas are a rad audience. Plus I got to hang out with the cutest photographer, who saved me from the pervs. She's awesome.
- was the cherry on top of the awesome cake that is Monique Maion's show at Lion's Nightclub, late April.
I got to tapdance/boogie on a slippery wet metal counter. Speak of adventure. Dancing to a live band is something else, tough.
- I am having the craziest hormonal swings ever since changing birth control. And as you may have noticed from the photos, not only have the new pills made me gain weight, they made my boobs grow. Like crazy. They are ridiculously heavy. And sadly, equivalently sore.
- I get to cover another fun sex event for work! Tomorrow is the press only opening of PopPorn Festival, and part of my mission is to (mum is the word) interview the competition. Namely the representatives of a brazilian alt porn site. Yay! I love it that I can actually get my bestie to go to these things with me, since I am shy as hell.
- Oh, right. I changed my hair again. But it's mostly faded off already. Thanks to tumblr I've been having a daily overdose of fairy kei, lolita and gyaru fashion. Although I have (almost) come to terms that thanks to long time habit gyaru is actually a part of my street style (I do wish I could be ama loli every day)...
In case you are curious, it is the lightest mint now.
- I've been spending lots of time with the bestie, doing things such as playing RPG's and hanging out. And of course, burlesque stuff.
- I have developed a healthy obsession with cuteness. Which is probably why I am ridiculously broke now.
- I have
been watching japanese dramas, such as Deka Wanko and Nodame Cantabile. I will admit I watched Deka Wanko for the clothes, and almost died watching episode 6, where she goes to a Angelic Pretty store. Reccomendations are welcome, since after finishing Madoka Magika I have nothing else to watch.
- Last but not least, I am trying to be more active online (on other places that not tumblr). So I went and made myself a facebook page for my burlesque work. Go LIKE it!

That's been it, basically. Now if I can only survive this week, and then the rest of the hormonal adaptation to the new meds, I should be fine.

I wish we could've seen the burlesque show! The photos are wonderful. I wish we could see some of the programming for the festival but looks like we're busy with family this time around. I hope it goes well!
