So yesterday I had gum surgery. The periodontist took a bit of gum tissue from the roof of my mouth and sewed it on to the bottom front area. The Lost reruns were incredibly cruel. I'd be all set for a new episode and ABC would be like, "Psych! Fooled you." I read this thing somewhere that everything on the island happens because Walt, the little kid, imagines it. The polar bear, for example, was in his comic book. There are other things.

So what happened to your gums? I hope it wasn't the dreaded disease of gingivitis.
