Holy shit I'm tired. Friday night was the long awaited Gossip show and let me just say right now it was some hot shit. I fucking love that band. I think I would even say, and this is a big one, that they are among my top ten bands to see live right now. Their live show is amazing. I love the records, of course, but they're nothing compared to seeing them live. If I could pick any girl singers voice to have it would be Beth's. Plus her commentary about how she just got her period a few hours before the show started was hilarious. She came out on stage and immediately announced that she got her period and people cheered like crazy, including tons of boys. Why were they cheering? Was there a pregnancy scare I don't know about? Was it just a crowd hungry for blood? I couldn't tell you. But at one point she said, "I got new panties today and guess what I'm doing in 'em?" It was some good times.

I spent yesterday helping my friend move and a bit of that may be on the agenda for today as well.

The first 20 pages of my play are due this week and I really need to get moving on it today. I have a basic idea but I don't know what the action is going to be. I guess I just have to "puke it up" as my prof so charmingly puts it and see what happens.

I never did write that journal about the burlesque show. I thought the show was great but the crowd (mostly, but certainly not everyone) sucked it. There were so many guys yelling "show me your tits" that I thought I was at a frat party. Seriously, so disgusting. I was hoping that the crowd, especially the boys, would be way cooler. My friends and I had to move like 3 times because the boys around us were so dumb. But the girls were awesome and I loved the music. That's all I'll say.
