Way up in the air for me right now. The big thing is that Lollapalooza is the same weekend, just like it was 2 years ago.

Entirely possible that I could fit in both to some extent, but Tara & I are gonna see about weekend passes to Lollapalooza, whenever those go on sale, and maybe look into the VIP options as well -- indulge ourselves perhaps!


Big news recently is that the company behind New York's big annual comic-con (held in NYC 2 weekends ago), is lining up a Chicago event starting in 2010! The exciting part to me is that they are fixing to use McCormick Plaza by the lake! I am ecstatic over that prospect, because after doing Rosemont by O'Hare the last 10 years straight, I'm burned out on the suburban venue and really want something better IN Chicago.
I'll keep you posted either way. Keep an eye out in the Chicago group for something on that the closer we get to the summer. It's not even until August this year, so no one's buzzing about Wizard World quite yet.

how was that bob dylan show? i heard he was playing keyboards the whole time instead of guitar, which seems a little weird to me

I haven't read "No Hope" before, but I'll add it to the list of things to read.

I've got about 6 issues of my book, the 7th is being drawn and edited as we speak. As of now they're only printing about 250 copies I think and it's pretty much only going to be sold locally around NYC. It's a start, a small one but a start.

The name is after the Jets to Brazil song I assume, that's my personal fave JTB song actually.

I have to view with suspicion anyone who would purposely wake you up in the morning. On the other hand, maybe he regretted not making a move on you and couldn't wait until lunchtime to make up for it. This would be a good sign if you're interested in him.

Invite him to dinner and drinks. A little alcohol loosens the tongue on someone who might otherwise be too nervous or shy to speak his mind. This is coming from a formerly shy kind of guy.

One of foremost things I've learned in grad school: a nap will do your brain better than a class. Good luck with the play!

I'm extremely jealous you got to go see the Gossip. We don't get a lot of really good concerts around here even though it's a college town. I wanted to go to the Grinnell show, but got stuck doing thesis work.
