Hey y'all! In a little while I'll be getting on a plane to finally visit the west coast! I'll be in Vegas tonight until Thursday and then OC/LA Thursday until Sunday. I'd love to catch up with everyone while I'm out there and even meet some new people.
Also, I had a set go in to member review this morning, so I figured it's the perfect time to do some SG Homework. I realized I have never done the very first homework assignment: What inspired you to become a Suicide Girls Hopeful? That's definitely appropriate for today.
When I first saw what @missy and @sean created, I instantly knew I had to be a part of it. I submitted my first set in 2006, that was shot by @sawa. I was really nervous, but her and @cricket had so much good energy that it was contagious. My original inspiration was just to become comfortable in my own skin and share that with the world.
What I really fell in love with at SG was the community: meeting new people and going to events. I've met so many amazing people because of this site and made life long friends. The community is what inspired me to keep submitting sets. I shot two more with @lorelei that came out in 2008 and 2009.
I finally decided to shoot another set last November and got to work with the fabulous @Alissa and @radeo. Then this summer I had the pleasure of also working with @sunshine.
In honor of having a new set finally go in to member review, I've uploaded the other three sets in to albums in my photos. I think it's important to share my journey with you all (links after the photos).
