It's Christmas Eve night ... the children fell asleep during Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I'm wrapping presents and, well, actually goofing off and procrastinating as usual.

The children will all be happy. Daron is getting about 50 things, it seems like. Ah, to be 5. Steve is getting a Boss DD-6 Effect Pedal and a CD case that holds over a hundred of them. Chuck is getting a Dell computer with an all-in-one printer and flat panel monitor. Jimmy, my new "adopted" child that I took in off the streets last week is getting a glass weed pipe.

I was really liking Christmas for my kid's sake, but I'm a little melancholy tonight. I am officially flat broke. I just wish I was sleeping with Santa tonight. It gets cold in my big bed in December.

To tell you the truth, I'll be glad when its all over tomorrow!
