So, I have two relatives on opposite sides of my family. One old, one young. I love them both. They love me. We want the best for each other, I'm sure. And yet, both of them seem steadfast in taking current courses of action that are ill-advised, impractical, irrational and otherwise fly in the face of multiple attempts to set them on a better, smarter path. It's the 'lead a horse to water' analogy, but it's all the more aggravating when you're related to the thirsty horse. No matter what you feel guilty that you didn't do more to convince them to make better choices, but if (and when) their crappy self-involved logic fails...well, it'll suck no matter what. At the same time, you can't let it make you crazy either...somehow. If that's possible. Which it probably isn't. *sigh*

Ah guilt. *hug* We'll get through this, and so will they.

I'm packing! I'm packing MY stuff! The movers arrive at 8:30 am. Tomorrow will be pretty much a day of cleaning. Yay!
