So, when I was walking in the hills of Burbank about two months ago, I saw among the blurry photo-copied signs tacked to phone poles for lost doggies and kitties, a sign that read: Lost -- 1 desert tortoise. Hilarious mental scenarios ensued.

This week, while walking in the hills of Burbank, about a mile from where I saw that first sign, I saw a second sign. This one read: Found -- 1 turtle.

All I can say is: You almost made it to the freeway you glorious reptilian fugitive.
