So, went to see the swanky new immigration attorney Trixel and I have hired to get her all legal and American and such. (And so she can work here and keep me in the manner with which I'm accustomed.)

Well, I got the list of things we'll need to do over the course of the next year or so and got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. It's nothing we weren't expecting, but holy crap, this is like 156 kinds of bureaucratic hoople-head spinning nonsense involving the Federal Government (immigration AND IRS, cause they check your taxes too), State Government, lawyers, doctors, every official document you've ever had since you were born, a big chunk of cash and sacrificing the blood of the innocent (like there's any of those in Los Angeles...Please!?). And I need to have a job too...but I don't have one right now. No pressure...blah.

I had to call Trixel and tell her to tell me everything was going to be OK. She did and I feel better. For now. We are doing this together afterall.

And I thought I liked the new SG interface, however the last two years I got like, 25-30 birthday wishes each from friends, friends of friends and complete strangers. It was nice. This year I got 3. Still nice, but kind of blah.

On the bright side, it's hot as fuck. And I have a rash. And blah.
