Went out w/my friend Jeremie Friday night. I had SUCH a great time! We met at the Brazen Bean for martinis. I have a martini snob friend who says they don't serve real martinis, just frou-frou drinks in martini glasses...which is true...but DAMN they were good! I had a ginger/pineapple/vodka martini and Jeremie had a lavender one. Mmmm...if you haven't been to the Brazen Bean you must go. Great people watching, mid twenties kinda clientelle...so nice!!!
Then we found a sushi bar and shared some sushi and a bottle of bad sake, then went to the smallest bar in Portland. I don't remember what it was called...I was pretty tipsy by then, but it was WONDERFUL!!! The bar was maybe 3 or 4 feet long and there were 5 tables. The place was elbow to elbow by the time we left...I LOVED it!
Hehehe. I remember less and less of the evening as I drank more and more, but we ended up at "some place" that made amazing raspberry beer and the best pork tacos I've ever had.
I didn't really get up until 3:00 p.m. the next day...so it was a great night!!!
