I just got back from RAIN! The tribute to the Beatles 
Oh, it was wonderful. If you have any love, adoration or respect at all for the Beatles, or music at all for that matter, you absolutely HAVE to go, even if you're not lucky like me and you have to dive to another city to see the show. All the music was live, the musicians looked very much like the original Beatles, and the visual effects (lighting, big screen projectors with trippy backgroud scenes) were stunning! The band encourages a ton of audience involvement, and the entire production is very moving and emotional. It was for me anyway. You can call me a big baby, but I literally cried during "Let it Be", it seemed like just the song for what I'm dealing with in my life right now, and hearing it live, standing up on my seat and letting completely organic tears stream down my face was just the remedy for all the sadness and fears I've been experiencing. I feel a little bad, though. As it turns out, Sheldon (my boyfriend) really wanted to go with my mom and I, but he never said anything until I came home gushing about how wonderful it was. I really WOULD have taken him, but he's such a manly type, he never tells me when he feels left out or when he wants something until it's too late. Haha, maybe I could stand to be a bit more attentive instead of having my head floating around in the sky all the time!
Oh man, oh man, I go back to work tomorrow! It was really nice to be a bum for 3 days but I've run out of money and it's about time I stop driving myself and Sheldon crazy with all my nudity and maryjane and daytime television. I just wish I had accomplished a little more with all that time off! I could have gotten some organizing done, or made a big collage or at LEAST caught up with my laundry, but all in all, I think the last 3 days were well-spent! I did whatever the hell I wanted on my own time and had some quality time to focus on myself
