Just been watching Martin Scorsese's No Direction Home documentary about Bob Dylan. Now I am an unconditional Dylan fan, consider him probably the greatest songwriter the world has ever known, in a whole other league to, let's say, Lennon and McCartney. Lennon and McCartney are like circus clowns next to the prophet that is Bobby D. So of course I appreciate the chance to just...

It has changed a lot since I first got on here. If my memory serves correctly, there was only one girl per week. Maybe more. There were a lot less people on here. It also seems like the creep factor was a lot lower. A few years back, I knew pretty much everyone in Austin who was on the site. Now there are just too many people. The framework of the site is essentially the same. It's just grown to accommodate all the members. When anything gets bigger it's going to become more impersonal. But hey, it's a website after all. All in all, there are still tons of great people on here. Somebody told me that there were pictures of naked girls on here, but I don't believe them.

Dear you,
I just got in, now it's actually officially my birthday esp b/c my sister just called.
I love your commentary to me so much, it made me smile crazily (worse than the "Miss Brightside" picture!), it means so much to me very seriously that you love what you've read so much and it's special to you........ I used to write published columns so I actually do have an in-tact goal to bring myself across with the intention of getting inside and I'm so happy I can not only still do it, but that I've made far off friends like you. It is so special that only words can kindle cheer and light a little distant sunshine, I say it's a great way to avoid idle hands. I love what you said so much and I am very flattered and honored that you applaud my story telling. It means so much! Hint/warning: I will continue to do so b/c this makes for lots of fun.
Thank you for song dedications b/c you know I love that but ULYSSES?!!?!? Oh Lord! I better write a book one day....but I do hope to compile my journals once they get rolling, into a zine format. Print them all out and compile good toilet reading. I used to like making mini half-size zines and I had a friend applaud me for it b/c he said it was good enough to keep stuck right in his pocket---Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh so cute!
So look out. Anyway.
Nothing but thank you for pointing to specifics as well, as I need good feedback.
SOmetimes I feel like I document bad drama, but sometimes it's such an on-going thing it's too hilarious to discount. And it helps me chin-up!
I've made a decision about work: I'm going to New Orleans. I've just begun talking to my family about it and they immediately offered up money to pay my house expenses so that I can just go and fuck off as long as I need to be there, which I have decided needs to be done as someone who walked through 9/11. But that's all I'll say for now...I should update soon. I'm very excited and feel once again, that everything in your life/path/way just goes as planned in the orders that are supposed to go in succession and what not, in reguard to a clear future.
HOW DID IT GO WITH YOUR EX WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ABOUT!?!? Did you show her your SCUM and tell her you're on to her?!
My family drove me to tears today. I'll update. They were cruel and to think they return later forthe real b-day but they only get lunch, thank Christ. Then I'm on my own and thankful for it. I'll figure it out.
THANK YOU for the happy wish!!!!!!!!
Sparks, btw is pretty much Red Bull with 6.0 alcohol. Malt liquor. Good luck!!! I've already got fridaymourning hooked on it!
Thanks for the spell check and thanks always.
Love, Miss Love.
Edit. Dude I'm 29 now.

Not so fucked off anymore - it's amazing what forty lengths of a swimming pool and a pot of rhubarb and vanilla yoghurt will do for your equilibrium.
Also today I fell asleep on my desk over a copy of James Gleick's Chaos: Making a New Science (1987). This has never happened before, though I'm not blaming Mr Gleick.

Your best line today is
Not so fucked off anymore
I LOVE it. I love these British phrases.
Eh I'm not so fucked off anymore either. I got dumped sort of, this is a long story I would never say here. Little Miss feels shafted but whatevs.
I will be moving out of my crude and crazy basement!!! My biker wants it in trade for the cute room upstairs!!!! Oh Lord!!! A real girl's bedroom!! Plus it has a roof deck thing--not fancy but you can open the window and jsut get outside. O Lordy I can't wait. I know where I'll be during the rain!!!
So people suck is my verdict for today. TWATS!!! Men are TWATS!!! Not all, I know. But for today, some.
Be good.

i think my natural defenses help me to not absorb that kind of stuff. as soon as i hear someone talking about who's dating who or whatever, i just shut off my ears. reminds me of those horrible pop magazines that have all the gossip about who's gain weight this year and how to get a bikini body after having a baby.

good Lord (literally!??!) I read not one second of your post, I am so retardy.
That Cousteou whatever actually is a still from the film Rushmore (yup. another with Bill Murray.) and you should rent it maybe if it intrigues you. It's a great quote, though.
You'll see my writing in the mail soon enough.
Oh thank you. My smile is actually crooked (seriously) but when my lips are closed we're good. Otherwise I have British teeth on top of a crooked jaw. I am funny. I would be cool in an English bar.

One of my all-time favorite lyrics is from the same album - "She's the puzzle piece behind the couch that makes the sky complete"!
I'm happy to hear that you're back in the internet neighborhood again! I'm always sad when friend go grey and can never stand to remove them from my friend's list. Happily, I'll be able to cut Cutriver lose as he's new & improved!
The last description reminds me of a relationship that I'd capsized faster than a bowling ball passenger in a paper boat. Her reasoning (along w/ those of a couple of others) was my inability to satisfy myself. I thought that happiness was only achieved through an external source (the relationship ideal). As things strayed away from where I thought they should be, the entire thing plunged into the murky depths.
Dunno...rather than having anything profound to say, I'm just happy that you're back!
