twinkies and soda pop
mischievous summer days
some things I'll never have again make my mind race
others make me numb.

when I was young, I sawed open some shotgun shells and dumped the black powder into a bowl.
I threw molotov cocktails and ran from the police.
even when things weren't so simple, they were still easy by comparison.

I always wanted to find something to make my heart race.
to unsettle the flat lined drone.
now all i want is to pump that swing to the very top

release.

and fly.

thats pretty intense. i'd probably shit myself. i was in a car that got hit by a semi on the interstate once. we like spun 360 and saw all the traffic coming at us, then we stopped in the grassy median. it was funny in a weird way, everything happened sooo slow, but in a span of like 5 seconds. nobody was hurt that time either.

& i'll give you an underdog =]
