let's see if i can write this before my computer crashes again. I've recently updated to the new version of ubuntu, but now my computer seems extra seizey.
you know those moments where you sit in front of your keyboard wondering why you're typing out your thoughts into cyberspace? I'm having one right now. i just don't know what i should talk about.
how about a ramble?
i guess the big thing in my life lately has been playing music. That non profit i volunteer at recently held a concert where the kids in their different rock band classes got to perform. It was tres cool. Each of the bands did like six songs to a packed house. They were all pretty good and the audience seemed to genuinely like the show, even if it was mostly comprised of relatives of the performers. They were recording it too, so everybody gets to have a CD of the acts. I thought it was a really cool way to end the term for the bands.
I think i might be having my first not-an-open-mic performance in a week or so. Girls working in a coffee shop on my walk to work got me to play and sing for them. They said they liked it a lot and talked me into setting up one of those coffee shop acoustic thingies. I couldn 't resist, they told me i was cute and cool. How could an attention whore say no?
um, ya. ramble, ramble, out.
