They are doing better. Although I turn my cell phone off every night when I go to bed and usually when i wake up there is voice mail from my dad left at the wee hours of the morning asking if i'm watching some show or another on TV...

Kinda of glad I turn it off, but if they ever have an emergency in the middle of the night they will not be able to reach me or my brother because my brother turns his ringers off, and they don't have his cell number.

People at car shows can be really lame alright. I prefer talking to the old guys about their "loves" than those hotrod guys any day because of all the bullshit hype placed on the kind of cars they drive. The old guys actually rebuild their cars whereas most of the time the hotrodders paid someone else to destroy a perfectly good classic with a bowlingball paintjob and chop the top off. I just don't get it... its not my thing. I want my car to be rebuilt and painted to look like it did when it first came out of the Ford factory in 1959 not like some stray cats album cover. Not that I don't like the Stray Cats...

White Tigers & Lions are actually a little creation of Mother Nature's they are just so uncommon. Only about 200 White Tigers in the world and the White Lions were nearly extinct in 1993. That's what is so fucking cool about Siegfried & Roy - they aren't just wacky show guys but conservationists as well. They have bred theses tigers and lions back from extinction. They have somewhere around 70 of these cats at their place that they've bred on their own. I've really got to respect that.

I'd be so pissed to find a hidden set of floor boards in my car. Then again, It was pretty well looked over before I bought it. What am i talking about?? Well i got my dream car a couple days ago - 1959 Ford Galaxie Fairlane 500. The story is in my journal. I'm damn excited!!

Sounds like you had a good weekend overall Lord of the rings rocks....I can't wait to see Return of the King. *sigh* 2 more months to wait!!
Pirates of the Caribbean was so good, I saw it twice and I can't wait til the DVD comes out.
My weekend was pretty good.... relaxing, not much happening....nothing exciting.

Wow... you've got a rocket 88? I'm quite envious. I'm still working on finding the perfect classic myself - which my fantasy also involves. I want a Fairlane like Barney Fife's, more or less. Any good car shows there? They've been really lacking here for a while now.

Ok, here's a question. How does Army of Ponch fit into the rest of your music selection there. I just thought it was funny to see a local band in your list. Do you visit Gainesville or possibly know those guys?? In that case, are you going to be at the fest on the 17th & 18th. As far as I know, they're playing. Plus about 20+ other bands. Should be fun.

That's great you had a fun time in Melbourne, sucks about having to work on Saturday though probably missed out on a lot but hey you're happy now so that's all that really matters. Sorry I dont have any interesting stories about my weekend it was just average, Finger Eleven played here on Sunday we dont ever get any cool bands they usually just pass by. Thanks Sugarc0ma5, I have been trying online job searches the problem with those is that a lot of companies don't advertise when they're filling positions. All the companies that I have applied at just aren't hiring at the moment, but you're right I just have to be persistent eventually a job will become available and hopefully my resume will be at the top of the pile.

Good luck with your trip I hope you have a fun time while you're away, and there better be stories .
