I had a long talk with my coworker tonight about whether or not age differences in relationships really matter. Society tells us they do, right? Imagine this- you're 43 and you're dating a girl who is 23. Is this wrong? Your friends might high five you and call you a dog with toothy grins, but you can't help that gut feeling that maybe what you're experiencing is wrong.
I think, fuck em. Fuck society and your friends and anyone in your life who tries to tell you that your happiness should be denounced to shame. 20 years is a long time, but I know people who are 17 and 18 who have seen more and felt more than some men and women in their 50s, even 60s.
What do you guys think? Is this too far of an age gap? Should 'age gaps' even be relevant?
