I only have one tattoo. I'm fussy as hell with designs, otherwise I'd have a full sleeve by now! u__u

Nomi Chi

^ that's who I'd use. Her work is amazing! I love how much control, depth and character there is to each part of her work. You don't usually see tattoos like that on folk. It's a shame I don't live in Vancouver

Man, I saw this topic on this blog and figured I'd do the same!

Five songs seems an impossibility, I could easy fill a top 50!

1) Alexisonfire 'Dog's Blood'

I'm fussy when it comes to gigs, especially for bands I love. It's kinda like that whole "never meet your idol" because you'll always be disappointed. I didn't want to see these guys live in...

@vanissa It was fun though! I must've spent ages picking a top 5. Thanks for being a randomly discovered blog post :D

I spent ages picking the 5 I picked too. It's definitely not easy, but it was fun! Haha no problem :D

Suffering from a serious case of wanderlust. I haven't been anywhere on vacation since Tokyo and that was three years ago this year.

I'm just getting a feeling of repetition. Working too much, not enough social time.

I need to have my mind blown on a regular basis, otherwise I just feel like I start to whither and die

Jeez! As if it's been three months since I last posted on here.

Stressful, stressful month is still stressful. There are redundancies in my department, well, just the one. I should be fine, stat wise I'm towards the top of the lab staff but it's still fucking horrific that after a month we still haven't found out.

I started looking for other work though, just...

This weekend will be mostly spent listening to 90s Grunge.

I just finished watching Chasing Amy. It reminded me of the time watched Hackers, the mid-90s Angelina Jolie film, earlier this year.

I'd forgotten how simple a time the mid 1990s was, granted, I was a fucking child. It's not like I had bills, or any responsibility in my life at all. The most difficult...

Haha, I too remember the 90s fondly. I feel so lucky that my generation didn't have mobile phones or social media when we were growing up!!

I woke up at 5am this morning to find out that Satoru Iwata had died. A lot of people won't know the name but they'll know his legacy, the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo Wii, Earthbound, Super Smash Bros etc etc

I've always been a Nintendo fanboy, I've had practically every console since I've grown up, hell, I have two 3DS' now - one English, one

I'm quite happy with myself at the minute. I didn't think Instagram would feature quite prominently in my quest to learn Japanese, but it has. I've got quite a few Japanese followers, and people I follow, and yeh, I love the fact I can interact with people who a totally different culture. Granted it's totally on a basic level, but it was impossible to do

Here I am from the other side! I'm writing from my new house. It's closer to work, there's a better social scene, it's closer to Manchester and I now have two cats! :D Here's Wesley, trying to kill my hand, and again, instinctively attracted to a computer!

I've been out with Helen a few times over the last few days, generally to get an idea

I've decided to get a new hobby. It was almost by chance. I've always had a boner for Super Nintendo's. The same goes for Japanese culture. So i decided to merge both of them :D

It's really random how it all started. I got added to a group of facebook and now my whole world has been opened up into new realms of possibility. Seriously,...

Damn, Final Fantasy 5 is a masterpiece. But playing Chronno Trigger is something great cause it was no doubt one of the most exciting RPG's for SNES. Your should try strategy Des Langrisser, Breath Of Fire is also great as RPG and of course... A undergrond japanese game called Blood Brothers. It is a mixing of Beat Em Up with RPG. They are kinda piece of art from the old school games.
8bit_jesus:
I love Breath of Fire, I haven't played it for a while though! and I'll check out Blood Brothers, I know a dude in Japan who supplies retro games, hopefully he can get it. Sounds different enough for me to get it :D

I don't know if I mentioned this in a previous entry, but I'm moving into a new place in 6 weeks :D

It's closer to work, closer to Manchester. I'll have my own space, I'll have adopted two cats <3 I think I'm more excited at waking up to kitty snuggles every day than I am actually living with my girlfriend...? KITTIES!!! ^____^

I'm really...

I'm spending my Saturday night watching Lost in Translation. Weirdly it's one of those films I've always wanted to watch but I've never gotten around to it. One of my friends mentioned it yesterday, I saw it on Netflix tonight so figured "fuck it"

I quite like Scarlett Johansson from around that time, she was in Ghost World just a couple of years earlier, which...

"Intensely + consistently happy." Probably a big ask there! My brain's too fuzzy to elaborate at the moment, nudge me some time soon and we should  chat about it!

Life is good at the minute.

It seriously feels like I've walked through a door and locked it behind me.

I'm potentially moving out in around 2 months. It's closer to work, it's closer to Manchester. oh, I'll also be gaining two cats! d'aww! One of them hates people, she tolerates me, so yeh, that's love right there! (she was found pregnant, abandoned in a...
