those scruffy guys on the boat who took walt? that boat was waaaaay to smalll for it to be a big sea voyage/fishing boat. that had to have come from somewhere nearby wouldnt you say? also they "had to take the boy" right? well we know the "others" have a thing for taking children. could those sea men be some of the "others"?? also sawyer better not be dead, hes one of the better actors on the show. it did look like he only got it in the shoulder tho. and the thing that was pulling locke...it made a noise like a chain being cranked in. like it was a machine that had hold of him and not a monster. so if its mechanical, then what is that ghosty thing that looks like smoke? and also, it was pulling him into a hole in the ground. when they confronted that ethan guy, he came crawling out of a hole also. is there a whole underground tunnel network on the island? i think whatever the monster is, it must be at least MOSTLY invisible, cuz SOMETHING was tearing up the trees as it came towards them, but nothing to be seen. pethaps the smoke is like its "core" but the creature is actually much larger? and i missed the episode about hurley and the evil numbers, but when he saw them on the hatch he seemd quite willing to get blown up to see that it wasnt opened. but it was poened and now whatevers in there is free to get out...
