Got my grades for the Spanish final; looks like I've squeaked out another 4.0. Thus ends my foreign-language requirement, and I managed to keep up my perfect GPA.
I met with my logic professor about the classes I'll be teaching, and began setting up my schedule. It's insane. My current set-up:
Monday through Thursday, one of two math classes from 4 pm to 5:15 pm. Tuesday and Thursday, teach the two evening logic sessions from 6-7:30 pm. Tentatively, I will be teaching the one morning logic session on a Monday or Wednesday, 9-10:00 am. Once a week, I have to attend one of the logic classes; either the two morning sessions (Monday and Wednesday 10:30-11:15) or one of the longer evening sessions listed above. And, I have to meet with the professor once a week.
All this while keeping the Sunday-night through Thursday-night 10 pm to 7 am job at the pharmacy. I have to create lesson-plans each week, find time to do my homework, etc. Seeing the g/f would be nice; it looks as though I'll be using her apartment as a home-base between school and work, possibly napping or frantically doing my homework.
...Things with H.F are wonderful; the only bad thing right now is that, apparently, she has a stalker of some sort; an older man who began following her and trying to talk to her the last few weeks, "accidentally" running into her everywhere. He's taken to hanging out in the supposedly-secure parking garage for her apartment building (probably let in by the very lax attitude of the other residents; every time I go there, they hold the door for me instead of letting me gain access rightfully), and he was leaning against her car when she was leaving for my place on Saturday. Not good.
She doesn't want me to be worried- frankly, just so that I don't cause her to worry more. But... I'm worried about the situation. He crossed a line from romantic-comedy-obsession (talking to her as she walked the skyways) to creepy-obsession (following her home, figuring out which car was hers, etc).
Of course, I've haven't heard from her since she left for home yesterday afternoon- all I need is more worry.
...
Went to the Vault over the weekend with Tony; I'm really digging that place more and more each time I go. It has the friendly Eden vibe I've missed for a while, and they play music suitable for dancing. Shame I won't have time to go anymore...
A few girls at the club came up to me throughout the night. My excuse of "I have a girlfriend, but she's not here tonight" probably sounded fake... it was a nice ego-boost, though.
...
A few anniversaries are coming up soon. In 9 days, I'll have been smoke-free for 7 years. (I seem to recall 7 years somke-free as being some important mile-stone, like my lungs are pretty much as healed now as they'll ever be...) In 11 days, I'll have been sex-free for 6 years. Hmm. Funny thing is, I came to the realization recently that those two events are intertwined.
In 11 days I'll also have had my kitty for 23 years. Aww.
