Right, so I've had some problems since I've gotten back to Indiana in terms of TV, Internet and all that which you think would have been avoided since this is my "Super Senior Victory Lap" year and since I've been in the same house for four years now that it would all be under control and functioning properly.
Well its not, and today I found out why.
I have been pondering getting Direct TV for some time now because it gives me more of the sports I want to watch: Cricket, Rugby, SPL, Gaelic Football, EPL etc but today that all changed.
Why?
Because Direct TV resorted to "terrorist tactics" in order to get me to switch over from digital cable. I really can't believe the audacity of these assholes and if this has happened to any one in the Bloomington area you should contact your landlord.
So, I got down to college and our cable was all messed up when it was just fine three weeks earlier. When the cable guy came to fix it today the reason was clear.
The Direct TV people CUT my cable line in two and then hid it so we wouldn't find out. They then "left" an information packet on how to sign up for the Direct TV service at our front door and not on anyone else's.
I guess these Direct TV guys are very territorial since the cable guy told me they flicked him off when he drove into our parking lot...pure class these people have.
So ends that saga. I hope people have less drama when their school starts. At least I can have time to rest from this ordeal with my....FOUR DAY WEEKENDS. No Monday or Friday classes. Excellent.
In better news, Gravesen *should* sign for Celtic tomorrow.

By the way, my yahoo draft went fine last night (Alexander at the #2 pick, woohoo). I ended up starting another league so my league that got screwed last week could have a proper draft. We're going to keep the other league up so we can see if we're actually any smarter than the auto-draft. I'm also in a league with sg folks in the football group, you should check it out.
