Tomorrow I take the ferry to Bari, Italy from Dubrovnik, Croatia. We have to stay over the night there before we board yet another ferry, this one overnight to the Greek port of Patras (i think that is how you spell it).

From there its Athens, some Island suburb of there and then the Isles.

I am sad about leaving Croatia, since it has truely been amazing, but it will be nice to get to see some of the other parts of Europe and to revisit some places I went to in Greece six years ago.

As the days go on, I find myself blaming Arena more and more. He made clear errors in who he took, who he played, the positions he played them in and the 4-5-1 for the last 2 matches. I could understand it against Italy, but it made no sense to do so against Ghana when we needed to score, especially if he had to play DMB in central midfield to make it "work." I really don't understand how someone who took such great risks 4 years ago turned into such a wimp who couldn't see past his favorite players this month.

Certain players deserve their share of the blame (and some deserve credit as well) but at the end of the day it's clear that Arena made major errors, some of which he repeated. Thanks for the first 7 years Bruce, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
